1201 Human Proximal Tubule Epithelial Cells – Adult (PTEC)

Cryopreserved ampules of Adult Human Proximal Tubule Epithelial Cells (PTEC) containing 500,000 – 1,000,000 cells (dependant on batch).

Our primary human PTEC are isolated from adult renal cortex and cultured to preserve function and phenotype. When cultured under our recommended culture conditions the PTEC retain many of the key functions observed in vivo. These include basolateral K-Cadherin expression, albumin-mediated endocytosis and SGLT expression.
